The Adaptive Behavior Assessment System-II (ABAS-II) is designed to measure adaptive skills and provides a standardized, multi-informant assessment with technical adequacy that can be utilized to identify adaptive skills from birth through adulthood.
The purpose of the ABAS-II is to provide a reliable, valid, comprehensive, norm-based measure of adaptive behavior skills for children and adults The ABAS-II generates norm-referenced scores for the 10 skill areas and 3 broad domains assessed, as specified by AAIDD and DSM-IV-TR guidelines.
